It is an additive which increases the flowability of the mix without adding more water.

If for grouting works even better flowing properties are desired as can be achieved with adding the maximum water quantity, then Flow Control can be used. Also the request for the highest strength values can be filled with adding Flow Control, whereby the mix water can be reduced without affecting the desired flowability. Also at cooler temperatures the flowability at same water dosage will decrease.

One packet contains 60 g.

1-2 packets per 25 kg bag Rapid Set Product produce a very fluid, almost self-leveling mortar mix. Maximum 4 packets can be added per bag.

At an application temperature of approx. 20 °C Flow control is first added to the mix water. At somewhat cooler temperature Flow control is added to the mix of the Rapid Set product and water.

Flow Control can be used in combination with other Rapid Set Concrete Pharmacy products or with other equivalent additives.

Blending of Flow control with other hydraulic cement products the fluidity will increase. A trial batch is recommended to determine the proper dosage.
