Project Description

After almost 100 years, Dresden’s largest drinking water reservoir in the Räcknitz district needed to be renovated.

In 2019, the step-by-step rehabilitation of the elevated tank began, which mainly involved the rehabilitation of the ceiling surfaces and column heads in the water chambers. After intensive review of the products in question, the client DREWAG Netze GmbH, made the decision in favour of the KORODUR products MICROTOP TW 3 HOZ and TW 5 HOZ. Another decisive factor – the long reference list of successfully realised important projects with MICROTOP.

The MICROTOP product range complies with the DVGW regulations according to worksheets W300, W347 and is classified TYP 1, i.e. purely mineral without additives and other substances.

The products TW 3 HOZ and TW 5 HOZ are microsilica-modified mortars. Processing on site by the specialized contractor Fritz Wiedemann, in the dry-mix shotcreting method / pneumatic conveying.

KORODUR MICROTOP is successfully applied in Europe as well as worldwide. Installation by our professional and certified partners.

The renovation work will be completed by the end of this year.
