In the production halls of Lausitzer Megaflex Schaumstoff GmbH, worn flooring areas needed renovation.
Crucial challenge, the renovation works had to be carried out during the ongoing operations.

For the new flooring surfaces, a product from KORODUR, the self-leveling, fast-setting screed NEODUR Level was favored, NEODUR Level. NEODUR Level is a thin screed industrial floor with wearing aggregates which is used for fast renovations, e.g., in industrial plants.

The sub-base was prepared and primed with KORODUR PC. Thereon the NEODUR Level mortar was applied in a layer thickness of 8 – 10 mm. For the mechanical mixing and pumping, the installer used a conventional mixing pump which was adapted with rotor/stator and stainless-steel remixer for the processing of NEODUR Level.

With this pumping technique, approx. 3,350 m² could be finished between July and December 2020 – whilst operations were going on. In 2021, further flooring areas will be renovated with NEODUR Level.
