The KORODUR works in Bochum-Wattenscheid are venue of daily truck deliveries and pick-ups. The traffic level by trucks and forklifts on the factory road with Stelcon slabs is accordingly high. It is inevitable that under such constant and extreme stress, the one or the other slab breaks and must be replaced \u2013 within the shortest possible time. However, the procurement and exchange of a concrete slab usually takes a couple of days. Whereas the daily delivery and pick-up traffic must keep rolling.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the problem could be solved within a few hours only, thanks the multipurpose, very fast-setting Rapid Set CONCRETE MIX repair mortar.<\/p>\n

At 9:30 a.m. the repair works began. Firstly, the damaged slab was removed, then the area was covered with foil and CONCRETE MIX poured in a layer thickness of 250 mm, leveling and broom finish. The surface was kept moist with water for approx. 1 hour. Already at 12.30 p.m. the full factory traffic could roll as usual.<\/p>\n
