To protect the fresh concrete, depending on its grade, ambient and weather conditions, measures for intermediate curing should be taken acc. to DIN EN 13670:2011-03 in combination with DIN 1045-3:3012-03. The intermediate curing restrains the water in the concrete from evaporation, at wind and direct sun exposure. Thus, there is sufficient water in the concrete to allow the cement to hydrate properly.
