| "Check out the possibilities" is one of the well-known slogans of the Swedish furniture manufacturer IKEA | In order to still enlarge the possibilities to check out "Billy, Klippan, Malm and co." beyond the currently existing 180 IKEA houses in Europe, the furniture giant has just finished the construction of the world-wide biggest IKEA distribution center in Dortmund Ellingen on the ground of a former coal mine on an area of around 130 Ha.
The construction of the up to 32 m high Europe store with a surface of approx. 200.000 m² was opened up on 21.09.2007. The investment so far amounted to 250 Million Euro.
"Check out the possibilities" could likewise refer to KORODUR. KORODUR VS 0/5 - hard aggregate material of coating group A acc. to DIN 1100 for the production of cementitious hard aggregate screeds acc. to DIN 18560, DIN EN 13813 is specially designed for the use in areas of combined rolling, ramming and grinding stress, percussion, pressure and impact, which depending on the stress, can be produced in a nominal thickness of 8, 10 or 15 mm.
KORODUR industrial floors can as well be produced with premixed NEODUR dry mortars, e.g. NEODUR HE 65, which for large job sites can be supplied as loose material in silo using the innovative silo system with a daily performance of up to 2.500 m². NEODUR HE 65 can also be supplied in different colours acc. to the KORODUR colour chart.
Another store for approx. 290.000 pallets at the IKEA site in Dortmund Ellingen is already in planning - again with KORODUR industrial floors.
